Setting up MobileLink Alerts

Setting up MobileLink Alerts

When setting up your MobileLink account, you may receive up to two separate emails. One will have your welcome to MobileLink and a temporary password, the second email will only apply if you have a Generac dealer monitoring the unit as well and receiving notifications. This is to give approval to your Generac dealer to add your generator to their fleet management account. This will allow the dealer to get notifications and see the history on your unit.

**Log in on the web browser: www.mobilelinkgen.com (if you wish to change your password this will HAVE to be done on the website not the app)

You may also download the app: Mobile link for Generators and sign in with your email and password

Once logged in, on the right hand side there will be an arrow pointing down, please click on the arrow, this will open the drop down. You will click on 'Email Alert Settings' and once that is set up you will click on the drop down again and click on 'Text Alert Settings'

You will need to check the 'send me email/text alerts regarding my generator'

This is crucial so you get notifications about your unit:
Check mark the immediately frequency box and all the boxes for the text and email content settings you wish to receive.

*When setting up your text alerts you will get a text from the following number: 37622 it will ask you to reply with a 'yes' if you wish to get text notifications about your unit. If at any time this is blocked you will have to call MobileLink support at 855-436-8439 to get it resolved.
