What security does the generator have? Can someone steal it?

We have never had one unit stolen. We have also never heard of any dealer who has ever had any units stolen. Why? It would be more likely they steal the engine out of your vehicle than taking a generator installed at your house. The unit weighs over 500 lbs and is secured to the pad from the inside of the unit. The unit also has no handles and is very awkwardly weighted. Even four people would not be able to carry it, due to how it was designed.

The generator is also looking for utility loss to start the engine. In the case someone was unhooking the unit to steal it, the unit would start running while they were trying to steal it. That would also trigger the wifi/text messaging alerts from the monitoring device. The unit is very secure and was designed to prevent theft.
